This group of women comprised of Mardy McGarry, Sue, Gail, Ann, and Becky LeDuc has been coming to the shop for yeeears. It's part of their routine. They call it "no walk" Wednesday because they take brisk walks the other days of the week. I often see them cruising down to the marina as I open the shop, but not on Wednesday's.
Four of the five work in The Port Washington-Saukville School District. During the school year, they'll all meet here shortly after 6 a.m., when we open. They all drink out of the large, periwinkle mugs; Mardy likes a 4 shot, skim latte, Ann enjoys the same, Sue is a 2 percent-vanilla latte, Gail will often forgo a beverage, and Becky likes a large coffee in her floral mug. Everyon has a muffin. These days, most popular choice is seemingly the Sweetie Pie.
We get to see these ladies a lot. They always mix up their visits sometimes popping in throughout the week for a fix. But, one thing is for sure, we can count on seeing their lovely faces every Wednesday. They're about as regular as you can get, and we love it. Thank you Wednesday-Periwinkle Mug Ladies!
