Lee THE bicyclist, friendliest, and Coffee Connoisseur

Here's Lee.  I look forward to spotting Lee through the front bay window in the early morning as he tucks his bicycle safely away.  Lee has been enjoying coffee at this shop for as long as I've been there and probably longer.  He typically strolls in and announces his arrival by saying, "Is that my favorite barista behind the counter?"  I think he says this to every barista because regardless who's serving Lee his coffee that person is his favorite in that moment.

Lee rides his bike on most days of the week from his home on the lake, north of Belgium.  He'll enjoy a medium cup of coffee and one bakery treat.  Lee goes beyond enjoying his java, he likes talking about the roast while he drinks it.  Not only that, Lee is knowledgeable about the coffee he drinks.  I think we share a favorite roast of Papaua New Guinea (Lee if you're reading this, there's a crop coming in the next month-yipee!)  We recently fell in love with a bean from 'El Salvador'.  We think it's good fun to share coffee and conversation with Lee.

Lee is well known amongst the coffee drinkers at the cafe.  He'll stroll in, get his coffee and bakery, chat for a minute and then find some friends.  It's easy for him.  He's gotta be one of the friendliest folks I've met from the Cedar Grove area.  We love sharing time with this guy.
